Abraam's Coptic Charity
Anba
Abraam's Coptic Charity (AAC) is a non-profit
organization founded in 1993 with the goal to
provide the basic necessities of life to the
vulnerable groups and those overlooked or ignored in
the communities.
AAC
focuses on the long-term needs of the needy and
their communities-economic, physical and
social-through different assistance programs.
Our
Mission
AAC
mission is to support the basic needs of desperate
families in Egypt. Sudan among other African
countries in many ways. Following are some examples
of AAC undergoing activities:
-
Monthly financial
assistance to about 3000 needy families living
in extreme hardships. These families have no
income due to aging, chronicle illness or the
loss of the bread winner.

Providing Medical
Care.

Medical Dialysis
center as well as several medical centers in Egypt
providing essential treatment to the chronically
ill.

Financially supported
the construction of senior home for the poor, sick
elderly in Shoubra Cairo. Also financially
supporting the monthly costs of accommodation,
medical requirement of those elderly sick needy.

Sent Several medical
equipment to Africa
-
Monthly financial
support to cover accommodation, medical care cost
for the chronically ill and handicapped (physical
and /or mental).

Housing
improvements to those living under extreme
inhumane conditions, no roof , no electricity ,
no water , overcrowded housing of as many as 15
persons different ages living in one room ,
sharing everything , including one bathroom ''
if ever exists " .

Thousands of
blankets every winter to the needy families.

Financial
assistance to young brides to cover their
marriage costs.

Scholarships to
needy students so they can complete their
education and support themselves and their
families.
-
Emergency
financial assistance to several cases to
overcome financial hardships that resulted from
death or change in health/work condition of the
head of family or because of many other
hardships.

Financial support
to small projects that result is sustained
income.
-
Financial support,
school articles and clothing during back to
school month.

Financially
supported several breading farm animals "small
projects" in upper Egypt to provided resources
and enhance the quality of life for low-income
people.
